SAFe® Summit 2025 Denver – A Mile High Success!

Scaled Agile, Inc.’s 2025 SAFe Summit, held in Denver, Colorado, USA, proved to be yet another engaging and successful event for the team at Agile Hive.

Four days of insightful sessions, exciting keynote speakers, and one-on-one conversations with both existing and new customers were complemented by an outstanding level of hospitality throughout. We’ll walk you through the highlights as our team of three spent hours upon hours making the most of this annual event.

The Who, What, Where, When, and Why

Over 800 individuals from the U.S. and around the world converged on the 2025 SAFe Summit, held at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center, located just outside Denver International Airport in Aurora, Colorado. The event was held over four days, September 8 -11, at the sprawling campus situated between Denver and the airport. As one might expect, given the topic that has been most discussed in 2025, Artificial Intelligence (AI) was a key focus of this year’s conference.

The Agile Hive team (from left to right in the photo above) was proudly represented by a United Nations-style group of three: Clara Roder, born and raised in Germany, now living in New York (Business Owner, Seibert Products), Joshua Brock, born and raised in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. (Content and Technical Writer, Agile Hive) and David Woo, born in China, who immigrated to the U.S. in the early 70’s and has been living in Erie, Colorado for over twenty years (Sales Consultant, Agile Hive).

Something For Everyone

Scaled Agile, Inc. consistently outdoes itself year after year. With five exceptional keynote speakers and over 50 conference session speakers, each day of the Summit was filled with a little something for everyone!

Beginning on Sunday, September 7, with SAFe Fellows Day, all the way through Thursday’s “Rise, Shine & Say Goodbye Breakfast”, the AI-Native Foundations Certification Course, SPCT and Partner Day celebrations, six conference tracks, SAFe Experts Coaching Station, dozens of classroom sessions, it was a packed agenda for sure. As an ART Level sponsor, Agile Hive also enjoyed a prominent location in the Partner Marketplace, where we welcomed a large number of visitors to our booth. While it’s always good to see familiar faces and greet our existing customers, it’s also wonderful to make new acquaintances and develop new friendships.

Here’s a look at just a handful of the sessions offered:

  • Keynote: The Power of Peer Learning: Why We’re Better When We Learn Together
  • Keynote: An Operating Model for the Age of AI
  • Roundtable: Agile in Government: Modernizing Delivery in Complex Environments
  • Roundtable: AI & Agile for Good: Balancing Innovation with Responsibility
  • Delivering Value With Less: The ART of Thriving in Tough Times
  • Advanced SPC: A Critical Role in Navigating Complex Transformations

AI…My My My

With well over a dozen sessions, between both keynotes and workshops, AI was easily the topic on everyone’s lips, and rightly so. In the past year alone, standalone and integrated AI has appeared in almost every aspect of our lives. Roundtable discussions, including “AI & Agile for Good: Balancing Innovation with Responsibility”, often generated more questions than answers, but that typifies where we are as a society on the unknown possibilities – and implications – of this technology.

This year’s Summit (and most likely, those in years to come) included a unique symposium on the topic. With keynotes, interactive panels, demos, and real-world insights, AI, and specifically its intersection with agile at scale, this was a highly anticipated addition to the conference. Additionally, for those interested, a two-day course entitled the “AI-Native Foundations Certification” allowed attendees to dive into the coursework and receive a certification and digital badge.

See You in San Diego! SAFe Summit 2026 Heads to San Diego, California

It was undoubtedly a very busy and involved handful of days at the Summit, however, we also did find time to enjoy the wide variety of after-hours dinners, events, and activities, including a private meal with a number of our incredible customers. While there certainly was some “shop talk”, we all enjoyed the wonderful opportunity just to get to know each other on a more personal level.

Before our team at Agile Hive headed our own ways after the close of SAFe Summit 2025, we received the news that next year’s conference will be held in beautiful San Diego, in its first return since it was last held there in 2019. We anxiously look forward to seeing what Scaled Agile, Inc. has in store for everyone then!
