Our Agile Hive team had an incredible experience attending this year’s SAFe® Summit, held May 15-17 in the storied city of Prague. There was something for everyone, from Executive teams to SAFe® certified professionals, as well as both longtime and new SAFe® participants.

Serving Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), yet drawing attendees from around the globe, the European SAFe® Summit proved to be a powerful three days of presentations, networking opportunities with connections new and old, as well as SAFe® success stories. This was the largest gathering of SAFe® professionals since the much-anticipated launch of version 6.0 in March and it did not disappoint!

At Agile Hive, “the easiest way to implement SAFe® in Jira”, we were proud to be a sponsor of this incredible event. Our awesome, onsite team included Karl Baumgarten and Jamale Harris, both with Agile Hive Sales, Partner Managers Yulia Byvsheva and Clara Roder, Agile Coach and Scaled Scrum Master for Seibert Media Sven Müller, and Peter Weingärtner and Janik Röhler with the Agile at Scale portfolio team. Additionally, our good friends at KEGON AG also attended, both as sponsors and presenters. Their SAFe® Lean Portfolio Management Training (LPM) session was a great success.

If you attended the Summit, we hope it was as engaging and informative for you as it was for us. And if you’re interested in learning more about what Agile Hive can do for your organization’s SAFe® transformation, please feel free to reach out to us!

Adopting SAFe® in Small Steps

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) takes Agile and Lean principles and implements them at an enterprise or large organization level to increase and drive efficiencies, meet the requirements of stakeholders, and improve customer satisfaction. However, it’s not just supersizing established practices that worked at the team level, there’s an ART (pun intended) to it. This article explores the benefits and processes of making the transition via smaller steps rather than one giant leap.

Tips To Make Your ART Launch A Success

Your organization’s SAFe® implementation is full steam ahead, or at least, headed in the right direction. Pulling off your first Agile Release Train (ART) successfully is a critical step in demonstrating to all involved that this new way of working will improve efficiencies, shorten release cycles, and increase overall transparency from one end of the organization to the other. Our article walks you through a step-by-step process in this critical phase of your SAFe® journey.
